JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENT.

Responsibilities under Commodity Aggregation 

1. Oversee Supplier Creation and Network building: You will be responsible for leading and driving the building of a network of farmers and aggregators for commodities GFM trades, locally and Internationally. In these networks, you will secure Supply Orders that will drive our aggregation and trading volumes.
2. Oversee Farmer Gate Commodity Purchase Price Negotiation and Setting on MAP: You will be responsible for leading and negotiating farm gate prices on the Micro Aggregator Platform to ensure that the maximum profit is achieved per bag aggregated for farmers, aggregators and GFM.
3. Oversee Commodity Aggregation: You will lead and drive the team to ensure traceable, smooth and efficient aggregation of commodities at a profitable margin. This will include aggregating into warehouses across the country. Oversee and lead the purchase of large quality commodities in locations within the territories assigned to you.
4. Oversee Receiving of Commodities: You will oversee the teams responsible for ensuring that commodities are properly received at our warehouses or aggregation point through a network of warehouse managers. You will ensure quality and quantity standards are met prior to transportation and clearly captured on the waybill.
5. Oversee Data Captured and Cost Calculation: You will lead and oversee teams responsible for ensuring that all commodity aggregation data around aggregation costs from farm to warehouse and all related aggregation costs is up to date and accurately captured on our warehouse trade platform.
6. Oversee Warehouse Reports: You will lead and oversee teams to ensure that the available quantities of commodities in all warehouses we operate from are always accurately reported on a daily basis and match what sits in our inventory.
7. Oversee Transportation of Commodities: You will lead and oversee the team in sourcing, selection and registering of transporters to handle the delivery of commodities to off-takers or buyer’s locations.
8. Oversee Training of Warehouse officers and Commodity Aggregators: To ensure business continuity, you will lead and oversee the team responsible for training Zonal Coordinators, Commodity Aggregators, warehouse officers, main aggregators and micro-aggregators. Your training will be both hands-on and remote.
9. Over Machine Distribution: You will lead and oversee the teams responsible for the proper use of company resources such as threshers, tricycles, and any other GFM equipment in your operational area.

1. Oversee Market Creation and Off-taker building:  You will lead and oversee the team responsible for building a network of off-takers for commodities GFM trades, locally and Internationally. In these networks, you will secure Purchase Orders that will drive our aggregation activities.
2. Oversee Commodity Brokerage/trading: You will lead and oversee the teams responsible for brokering/trading commodities that have been aggregated at a profitable margin. This will include trading on the Ghana Commodity Exchange or on the open market.
3. Oversee Data Captured and Profit Calculation: You will lead and oversee the teams responsible for ensuring that all trade data around aggregation cost and selling price is up to date and accurately captured on our warehouse trade sheets.
4. Oversee Daily Warehouse Reports: You will lead and oversee the team responsible for ensuring that the available quantities of commodities in warehouses we operate from are always accurately reported on a daily basis.
5. Oversee Off-taker Price Negotiation: You will lead and oversee the team responsible for negotiating off-taker prices to ensure that the maximum profit is achieved per trade deal on every occasion.
6. Oversee The Receiving of Commodities: You will lead and oversee the teams responsible for ensuring that commodities are properly received at our off-taker site or shipping site. You will ensure quality and quantity communicated prior to transportation are equal to what is written on the waybill.
7. Oversee Exporting of Commodities: You will lead and oversee the team in exporting commodities that have arrived at our pickup point to the necessary shipping line and ensuring proper certificates are received and sent to the international trade department and/orrespective buyer.
8. Training of Commodity Brokers: To ensure business continuity, you will be responsible for training Commodity Brokers or Trade Associates in the company. Your training will be both hands-on and lecture-based.
